Helensburgh High Life

We have just secured Full Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for Panacea Property’s residential development of the Category A listed Cairndhu House in Helensburgh. Designed in 1871 by local architect William Leiper in the French Renaissance style, Cairndhu House has been on the Buildings at Risk Register since 2012 and will now undergo essential conservation work and conversion into stunning private flats. The magnificent interiors, featuring some of the finest work by Glasgow artist Daniel Cottier, will be carefully preserved.

The proposals will comprise 9 luxury flats within the listed building plus two new flats within a sympathetically designed extension. The project will also include a new mews property and four garden apartments within the grounds of the house, designed in a contemporary but complimentary style.
